Matthew Crowson, MD, Receives Resident Research Award from Triological Society

Congratulations to Matthew Crowson, MD, Resident in Otolaryngology, whose abstract submission to the Triological Society 2017 Combined Sections Meeting was selected to receive the Southern Section G. Slaughter Fitz-Hugh, MD Resident Research Award. Dr. Crowson will present his abstract titled, “Cost Minimization Analysis of Nonsedated versus Sedated MRI Strategies for Congenital Hearing Loss,” at the meeting in January.

Otolaryngology Resident Matthew Crowson, MD, Receives AAOAF-Merck Clinical Scholar Award

Matthew Crowson, MD, Resident in Otolaryngology, received an AAOAF-Merck Clinical Scholar Award for his abstract submission to the 75th American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA) Annual Meeting September 16-18, 2016. Dr. Crowson's abstract was titled “Provision of Allergy Care Services in North Carolina – Underutilization of Otolaryngologists.” The Clinical Scholar Awards are intended to encourage and facilitate resident research and authorship. Dr. Crowson presented his research findings at the 75th AAOA Annual Meeting during the "Scientific Paper Presentations" session.
