The Duke Division of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery provides high-quality, multidisciplinary care for a wide range of ear, hearing, and balance conditions.

Our otologists and neurotologists are highly specialized in the treatment of complex  disorders, including hearing loss, chronic ear infections, cholesteatomas, acoustic neuromas, Meniere’s disease, and other conditions of the ear and surrounding skull base.

The Duke Hearing Center, Vestibular Disorders Laboratory, and the Duke Skull Base Tumor Program represent clinical transdisciplinary collaborations with highly qualified colleagues in Audiology, Speech and Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Radiation Oncology. As leaders in their field, our clinicians, researchers and their collaborators are investigating strategies for improving the treatment of hearing loss and balance disorders, and overcoming hearing disparities worldwide.
