Leadership Lived Out Program
In 2013, the Duke Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences developed the Leadership Lived Out program, an interprofessional development training program for all members of the health care team. Participants engage in leadership development seminars on issues such as problem solving, decision-making, self-awareness, empathy, motivation, and empowerment.
In 2018, Dr. Eileen Raynor participated in the Academic Leadership, Innovation, and Collaborative Engagement (ALICE) program offered by the Duke Office for Faculty. The ALICE program is a leadership development opportunity for mid-career women faculty in the School of Medicine and provides in-depth opportunities for leadership skill development, personal reflection and goal setting, peer-mentoring, and structured 360 feedback.
