On September 21, 2024, a team of over 20 volunteers from the Duke Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences (HNS&CS) department joined Tools4Schools in Raleigh, NC, to help with school supplies. WakeEd Partnership’s Tools4Schools store provides free classroom supplies for nearly 11,000 teachers in the Wake County Public School System (WCPSS) to ensure that all students have the supplies they need to focus on learning.
Together, the HNS&CS team processed school supply donations, stocked the supply shelves, and checked out and bagged supplies for the teachers.
