Our Duke Skull Base Center team attended the North American Skull Base Society (NASBS) meeting in Atlanta, GA, along with Duke Neurosurgery, where seven trainees/students presented original research—ten podium presentations and three poster presentations in total. We are very proud of our resident, Somtochi Okafor, med student Jack Finlay, our fellow Saad Alshammari, Duke engineering student Tanner Zachem, and three Neurosurgery residents: Alankrita Raghavan, Jiji Abdelgadir, and Syed Adi.
Dr. Ralph Abi Hachem, also serving on the program committee, and Dr. John P. Kirkpatrick gave expert lectures. Dr. Patrick J. Codd and Dr. David W. Jang moderated sessions, and our nurse navigators, Trisha Holmes and Catherine Lingo, were also in attendance.
