We are pleased to announce that Dr. Brian Hughley has been named Associate Program Director of our Otolaryngology Residency Program, effective August 1, 2025. This appointment follows a thoughtful succession planning process, during which our residents unanimously recommended Dr. Hughley for the role. We are excited to welcome Dr. Hughley into this new leadership position and look forward to the continued growth and excellence of our program under his guidance. Dr. Hughley will work with Dr. Chip Woodard in leading the program.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Russ Kahmke for his dedicated service as Associate Program Director. His term concluded on June 30, and we are deeply appreciative of his counsel and leadership throughout our continuous improvement efforts. We know he will continue to make meaningful contributions to the department and institution through his other leadership roles.
