The Division of Laryngology collaborates in research endeavors with colleagues in population health sciences, speech-language pathology, nutrition, gerontology, and perioperative medicine.
The Division of Laryngology participates in and leads collaborative research efforts to:
- Better understand how unilateral vocal fold paralysis affects the lives of patients
- Improve the quality and effectiveness of treatment for patients with subglottic, airway stenosis
- Assess the epidemiology and public health impact of voice, breathing, and swallowing disorders
- Improve evidence-based care for patients with voice, breathing, and swallowing disorders
