World Voice Day 2026 Community Education Event
In celebration of World Voice Day, the Duke Voice Care Center partnered with NC MedAssist on April 25, 2026, at the Poole Family YMCA in Garner, North Carolina, to promote vocal health awareness and education. More than 400 community members attended the event, where Duke Voice Care Center team members provided vocal health education, vocal exercise demonstrations and free voice screenings. The event highlighted the importance of vocal wellness and early recognition of voice disorders while connecting community members with specialized voice care resources. Duke Voice Care Center team members also shared vocal health tips with a broader audience in a featured interview with The Sports Shop during the event. The partnership reflects Duke's ongoing commitment to improving community health through education, outreach and access to care.
