What were your main expectations for a residency program?

My main expectations were a program that provided wide exposure to all subspecialties as well as a team that meshed well together. Duke more than met these expectations.

What advice do you have for incoming interns?

Try to enjoy every step of the process. Look at the positives of every experience.

Please list any honors or awards that you have received, including any conference presentations and awarded grants.

Valedictorian, University of the West Indies Medical Faculty Graduating Class of 2018 and I was selected as one of the eight finalists for the 2019 Jamaica Rhodes Scholarship.

What do you like best about living in Durham and the Triangle?

I love the easy access to everything you need. The cultural diversity and food options. Also, how close it is to home (Jamaica).

What do you like to do outside of Duke?

I love motorsports, movies, cooking, eating out, and spending time with my amazing wife and family.
