Successful Sinus Dissection Course for HNS&CS trainees at Duke

The Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences (HNS&CS) at Duke University held its 9th Annual Sinus Cadaver Dissection Course for residents and fellows at Duke, providing an opportunity to get hands on training in advanced sinus and skull base surgical techniques.

This course was directed by HNS&CS Division Chief of Rhinology, David Jang, MD, along with Duke faculty Ralph Abi Hachem, MD, Bradley Goldstein, MD, and organized by the department’s Educational Program and Event Coordinators, Lori Allsbrook and Sylvia Garrett.  Two local fellowship-trainined rhinologists, Dr. Jeevan Ramakrishnan and Dr. Viraj Patel, volunteered their time as faculty.

Dr. Sanjeet Rangarajan, MD, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology from University of Tennessee and Dr. Chadi Makary MD, Associate Professor from West Virginia University served as our invited guest faculty.
