
Dennis Onyeka Frank-Ito, PhD, has been appointed Associate Professor with Tenure in the Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences, effective October 1, 2025. The promotion recognizes outstanding contributions to the advancement of the department’s research mission.
Frank-Ito has been on the faculty since 2013, in the Rhinology and Endoscopic and Skull Base Surgery Division. His research interests include modeling the effects of human airway anatomy on respiratory airflow patterns, deposition of inhaled gases, and particle transport using computational fluid dynamics. The appointment marks a significant milestone in his career.
