On February 7, 2026, Susan Bell, CMA‑4 at Duke Otolaryngology of Raleigh, represented HNS&CS at the “Pearls, Progress, and Power” 5K and STEM/Health Fair, which brought together community members for wellness education and physical activity centered around the theme “Run With Purpose.” Bell led an educational exhibit focused on blood pressure awareness and presented an informational poster.
As part of the event, Bell provided complimentary blood pressure screenings, answered questions, and offered guidance on maintaining healthy blood pressure and overall wellness.
The event was hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omega Lambda Omega Chapter, in conjunction with the Pearls in Partnership Foundation and the Raleigh Firebirds with a mission to promote health, knowledge, and community empowerment.
