Otology and Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery Fellowship Program Welcomes Dr. Connor Pratson

We are delighted to announce that Connor Pratson, MD, has successfully matched for the FY26 Duke University Otology and Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery Fellowship program, which spans one year.

Dr. Pratson is currently completing his residency at Duke University's Department of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Trinity College of Arts and Sciences at Duke University. After college, he worked as a research coordinator at the Durham VA Medical Center and as a medical assistant at the San Francisco Otolaryngology Medical Group. He then obtained his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, where he served as the chair of the medical student council and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Currently, Dr. Pratson serves on the patient safety and quality council at Duke University Medical Center.

Dr. Pratson is excited to continue expanding his knowledge of otologic pathologies and enhancing his surgical skills. He is also enthusiastic about working with residents to help them develop their clinical and surgical skill sets.

The Duke University Otology and Neurotology/Skull Base Surgery Fellowship is a one-year program that offers structured clinical opportunities for trainees to develop advanced skills in otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery. Trainees will gain competency in these areas through procedures at the main Duke University Hospital in Durham, Duke Raleigh Hospital, a satellite ambulatory surgery center, and the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
