Duke Surgery Faculty Member Receives Jerome C. Goldstein Public Service Award

Dr. Debara Tucci, Professor of Surgery, Division of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences, has received the 2017 Jerome C. Goldstein Public Service Award from the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). This award recognizes AAO-HNS members for their professional excellence and their tireless commitment to improving patient welfare. Recipients are nominated and elected by members of the academy.

Of Dr. Tucci’s recognition, Dr. Howard Francis, Chief of Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences, states “Dr. Tucci is an example to all of us for her selfless commitment to advancing the field of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the Communication Sciences through multiple leadership roles in national organizations, and her personal efforts to innovate and advance knowledge here at Duke, nationally and globally.”
