As Chief of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, Dr. David Jang is responsible for advancing the division's efforts in patient care, research, and education. He ensures that the division establishes referral networks and key multidisciplinary collaborations both within and outside Duke University, thereby maintaining a high-volume clinical program that provides the highest level of care to patients with the most complex problems. Dr. Jang also runs a robust clinical research program that includes clinical trials and development of health measurement tools. He oversees educational programs such as the rhinology education curriculum for residents, CME offerings for community physicians, and the rhinology fellowship, which is currently in its sixth year.
