A team from Head and Neck Surgery & Communication Sciences dedicated their time and effort on Martin Luther King, Jr. National Day of Service, Monday, January 15. They volunteered at the Diaper Bank of North Carolina, a Durham-based organization that aims to provide basic necessities to those in need. United in purpose, our team managed to wrap a total of 11,020 diapers and pack 3,850 tampons. It was a privilege for us to contribute to the Diaper Bank’s mission of upholding the dignity, health, and quality of life within our community. Our participation was not just an act of service, but also a testament to our commitment to community welfare.
